End of Year Luau

So Jordan's school doesn't do a kindergarten graduation (boo!). Instead, the Kindergarten classes do an end of year Luau. It was pretty fun, though I don't think I will ever volunteer to make 100+ sugar cookies for it again. Man, that was A LOT of baking, and before we had our new swamp cooler, so it was toasty in our house too. Anyway, first, the kids came out and lined up by classes. Then they sang these super cute songs for us. I really wanted to record it, but couldn't find our video camera in time and my SD card was full, so I couldn't record it on my camera. :( All the girls had these cute flowers in their hair, and at one point, the boys had these cardboard "guitars." Then after they just had different craft stations, then had a water balloon fight. Then we had lunch and went home.

The next day Jordan had an award ceremony, where she came home with 4 certificates. She liked that part.

Last Day of School

So I know that this was a while ago, but I just downloaded my pictures from that time. Here is Jordan with a few of her friends from their last day of Kindergarten. I can't believe that in less than a month now that Joey will be going into First Grade!! She is pretty excited. Anyway, here are some pictures for you.
Joey and her teacher Mrs. Miller
Joey and her friend "M"
Joey and these two guys hung out a lot. She really wanted to invite them to her birthday party this year, had she had one. They were pretty cute always playing together.

Utah trip

Sorry about not posting for a month. Hopefully I'll get caught up soon as we have had quite a bit going on. Here is the first of hopefully many posts......

So we spent a week up in Utah in June. It was a nice break from home. The trip was cut a little on both sides from what my original plan was, but still it was nice. We started out by heading up to Fish Lake to meet some friends camping. One of them rented a boat and took Joey fishing. She caught two little fish, though I only got a picture of one of them. One of our other friends helped Liam steer the boat. I think it's funny that the only pictures I have of my kids doing that stuff is with the guys other than Ty.

Anyway. After that, we spent some time just chillin in Oak City. We also went to the zoo with Janese. I didn't get a whole ton of pictures, but my favorite picture of the trip was there. The kids also swam in Nana's little pool. All in all, it was a fun trip but we are glad to be home.
