Apology
I'm going to apologize right now. I will be slacking at keeping our blog up to date again. I am taking two classes this semester, so it seems like every night is taken up with homework, instead of blogging. Not to mention that this has been the sickest winter for our family. Jordan has had the stomach flu three times, a cold twice, Liam has had two or three colds and an ear infection, and Ty has even had a few colds. Thankfully I have yet to get sick (knock on wood) though I know when it finally hits, I'm going to be down flat. So in a nutshell, that has been our past few weeks, and what is coming for me. Oh yeah, tonight I am also starting kickboxing. I am pretty stoked about it. Wish me luck.

Catching up-
Let's go all the way back to Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent the time in Utah with Ty's family. It's the first Thanksgiving we've spent with them since Jordan was a year old I think. I am such a slacker, that I don't think I really took a picture the whole time. Sad, I know. We spent almost a week hanging out with Ty's family. For Thanksgiving dinner, we headed up to Bountiful to hang out with more family. That is the first time we met our future sister-in-law. I found another random connection with Ty's family to Ridgecrest. This is getting a little (ok, a lot) crazy with how many different connections there are. The weather in Utah was great that week! The kids played outside most everyday. On black Friday, Ty and his brother and brothers-in-law helped Mike put in a new sliding door. It look so nice with all the other changes they have been making! Anyway, so that was Thanksgiving.
There is a couple in our ward here, who has a few acres of property and a love of trains. They have set up a few miles total in tracks and have several trains that can you can ride on around the track. They totally deck out the train set for Christmas every year, and for the past several years, have given rides to the public at Christmastime. So, of course we took the kids, especailly with Liam and his love of trains. Here is a picture of my family just about to head out for our train ride. The lady in the front is a very good family friend, then my mom, then the rest of us.

We headed back to Utah again in December for the wedding of Ty's brother. Other than being a little cold for my desert blood, it was a beautiful wedding. They are so cute together. The only thing I took a picture of was the kids doing Gingerbread houses. Poor Joey's fell apart.
Liam's finished house: We were there for a few days, and headed home for Christmas. Christmas was just chillin here at home. After opening presents then church, we went to my sister's house for a HUGE family dinner. I had two of my brothers and their families in town too, hence it being huge. Oh, and of course, we have some family friends that are basically like family after all these year, so they were there too.

For New Year's eve we had our good friends the Workman's over. I guess I could say we had some cousins over, as Ty and H are related. Anyway, we played games for a couple hours and then went outside at 10 to celebrate the New Year. We decided not to go any later as we had early church the next morning and didn't want cranky kids. I also found some fireworks up in a closet so we did sparklers and some other things. Oh, and I had some silly string, so R and I went out and silly stringed the guys. That was fun! It really did make me feel old though that I didn't mind at all being in bed before midnight. Oh well. That's what I get for having kids. (my computer is about to die, and these pictures are taking forever to load, so I will load the pictures from New Year's later.)

Sorry, sorry, sorry!
I know I have been such a slacker at updating this, but there seems like soo much has been going on. Mostly with two trips to Utah in three weeks, plus the flu going around our house a few times, plus colds, oh and the holidays, it has been busy. Before I post about the holidays though, I have to do this post. Liam recently has decided that he doesn't want to wear "biapers" anymore. After you change him, he'll run around butt-nekkid screaming "NO BIAPER! NO BIAPER!" So when I was at Walmart today, I picked up some training pants for the boy. He actually went potty in the potty once. Ok, so like 5 minutes later, he went again in the underwear, but hey, he went in the potty first. So that's good, right? Anyway, here is a picture of the little man all growing up.
