Yes, I know I spelled that wrong, but that's how Joey pronouces what she does on the first Saturday of every month. Home Depot has a workshop where they have these little usually easy projects for your kids to "bluild something." So every time we drive by Home Depot, Joey yells "Home Depot!! Let's go bluild something!" Here is a picture of her in her little apron she gets... the pins on there are the pins she gets when she finishes "bluilding."Joey is becoming a dark little girl! She usually loves to go outside and swim in her little pool. She also loves gardening. We don't have one for her to play in, but my mom does. She thinks Nana's garden is part hers. The other day she and Nana went out to check on the garden and see if anything is ready to be picked. Joey walked up and was looking and goes "Look, a big onion." My mom looked around and you could see the tips of some green onions, but nothing else. Finally Joey goes and opens the gate and runs to a plant and cradles this thing in her hands, and says "See, big onion." My mom goes over, and it was a fairly large bell pepper Joey found. Then today I was dropping her off at my sisters for a few minutes and couldn't get her to let go of me (she usually has no problem staying there, but I think she wanted to go with me to visit a friend in the hospital). So my sister was like, "We're going to have fried rice for lunch. It has eggs in it. You like eggs, don't you?" Joey says no. Then my sister was like "We have a slide out back. Do you want to go play on it?" Joey again says no. Finally my sister said "We have a garden outside. Do you want to go help me in the garden?" Joey gets all excited and says "Yeah!!" and runs off.
Not much else is going on with us. We took Joey to her first and last movie last night. At least for a while. We went to see Kungfoo Panda. We liked the movie, it's just that Joey didn't want to sit still. She just wanted to run around. Ty just got a new rear axle for his truck. Hopefully soon he'll find a front axle so that he can finish the registration. We also can tell you that one of the best indoor ant poisons is the liquid poison by Terro. We have had a major ant infestation and that has been the best for it so far. They aren't gone yet, but they sure have gone down in numbers.
We had an ant infestation when we first moved in too, then Daniel played exterminator and we haven't seen them since. I'm not sure what he used though. I love that picture of Joey, she is growing up so much and apparently taking after her dad with the dark skin. So fun!
