Random Update

Here is a random update on how we all are doing

Tyrell... He is very stressed out right now as budget season is in full swing for him. His hope is to have the prilimary budget for the city done by Mar 6. He will probably be putting in lots of overtime the next two weeks. When he's not working at work, he's doing what I call "Playing Truck." He actually has come a long way on his truck. He's working on finishing the back axle then he has to put the brakes back on, the tires on and finally get it inspected. We really hope it won't be too much longer because the car he drives isn't going to last.

Me... Well I turned in my two weeks notice at the medical clinic I've been at for the last year. There were several reasons for it and I totally feel it was the right decision for me. About a month ago I got a call one night (9pm) from my mom asking if I was working the next day. Since I wasn't, she asked me if I could fill in for her. She was @ City of Hope with my dad and the person who was supposed to cover for her called in sick and she needed someone to cover her shift or she'd have to drive home that night. So I covered for her and am now working at the China Lake Surgery Center between 3 and 5 days a week. I do all the assistant stuff I can do to help the nurses, plus I'm going to be helping get the accredidation stuff done in the next couple weeks, plus I go through the paperwork and file it all away (doesn't sound daunting, but trust me... a truly daunting task!!!!). I really really enjoy working there. Not just because it's with my mom, but everyone I work with is friendly and they are willing to teach me more stuff. Eventually they want me to learn to be a scrub tech and I'd actually get to go back during the surgeries and get to watch!! I'm excited for that!!!!

Joey... She has had a little attitude problem lately. We are trying to work on it, but its a slow process. After she gets mad, we ask her if she's getting an attitude with us and she promptly yells "No, I don't have an attitude." Sometimes it's entertaining. We are going to be putting her in preschool in the fall. We also have debated putting her in karate. In a couple months we are probably going to cut her hair and donate it to Locks of Love. Her hair is down to her waist. Our big hangup now is that she's terrified of the idea. She always tells us "Scissors hurt my hair." She has decided she's too big for bubble baths. If she sees bubbles she gets upset. I dunno when or why this came, but oh well. Her favorite part of bathtime is the end when the water whirpools around the drain. She lays there and gets all excited when her "thing" appears. She's currently taken up trying to make it go away, but hasn't had any success yet.

We hope ya'll are well!
